ハイキュー!! 34 [Haikyū!! 34] by Haruichi Furudate
Status:
"On page 200, "It's so rare to see Nekoma prioritizing offense rather than follow-up plays" (Furudate). Nekoma is known for their defensive abilities, digging up shots that seem impossible to every other team. Therefore, Nekoma having an essential offensive play is very rare, and therefore surprising for the opponents. The opponents are not expecting an offensive play, but rather long rallies that will drain the energy of players." Mar 13, 2021 07:19AM

Watchmen by Alan Moore
Status:
"On page 70, "I mean, what's funny? What's so goddamned funny? I don't get it. Somebody explain...Somebody explain it to me"(Moore 65). I like this quote because it shows signs that the Comedian was going crazy. he was questioning himself and what he was doing, which shows him going to the state where he was actually going to go crazy. Soon after this scene happened the Comedian died so maybe it has something to do with his death" Feb 27, 2021 06:54AM

The other side of midnight by Sidn.ey Sheldon
Status:
"On page 336, "She was not aware when Larry's love had gone or why or how, but one day it had simply disappeared somewhere down the endless corridor of time and all that was left was a cold hollow echo" (Sheldon 336). I chose this quote because it shows what had been going on between these two characters in this story and also shows the direction in which this relationship is going." Mar 13, 2021 05:14AM

March by John Lewis
Status:
"On page 63, "--And I felt like he preaching directly to me" (Lewis 56). This quote is short but truly displays the power and effect that the speech of Martin Luther King preached. Martin Luther King preached his message for the crowds of people who would listen, but his words felt as if they were spoken face to face on a personal level." Feb 27, 2021 05:46AM

Batman by Alan Moore
Status:
"On page 27, 'On page 47, "God damn it...It's empty!" (Moore 47). This scene shows the gun that Joker used to shot Barbara is empty. So he cannot shot Batman. Batman offered him that it's not too late to change but he refused." Feb 27, 2021 08:25PM

"On page 87, after the king had realised that the great rabbits were attacking the kingdom there was an emergency meeting that every noble had to attend and Felix also went to the meeting and had received a command from the king to not let Crusch know that the rabbits are attacking but this was not easy because Crusch can tell whether someone is lying or not and so the king disappeared before Crusch's birthday" Nov 14, 2020 07:53AM
