I've honestly lost the KOTLC flare... last year it was such a peak in my life, but because of school I haven't even finished book 6. I have forgotten absolutely everything and I am honestly worried that I won't have time to continue :(

That's sad :c maybe you should branch out and find new ideas. Indeed, college can be rather hectic, especially at the start of a new academic year but maybe taking breaks (but not quitting) here and there would be better, you never know!

I totally agree with needing more diversity in the Lost Cities, but I will not agree to seeing any of the beloved characters that I have grown so fond of change into a whole different new person, just to fit modern movie criteria. Shannon created the characters to look how they look, and sure maybe if one character has freckles when they're not supposed to or maybe he/she has to wear contacts to have blue eyes, that's okay - but changing their initial race and sexual orientation does not work out for me. I don't want to offend anyone and their opinions, but this is just mine. :)

Aren't there a few council members that look like the non-regular typical white person though? (so like they look hespanic or coloured) There is a portrait in Unlocked.

Indeed. I know that talent is more important than looks, but I still would appreciate it if the films didn't change how characters look in the books and that the actors' acting isn't crap and is "believable".
