and gethen - it would turn sophie's world upside down if she found out she was descended from the neverseen member, it would help her connect w/ keefe (and i think we all know that shannon's going for sokeefe)
also i heard somewhere abt a concept that moon/star scars are like parent/child, and gethen has a moon scar and i'm pretty sure sophie has a star one?
