I'm not that far into the book yet, but I'm really enjoying it. I like Catarina and Cole, but the world building is not all there yet.

Last year I totally fell off the earth on the monthly reads. I was in a bad reading funk almost all of last year and didn't participate on most of the hidden gems.

Does anyone have any suggestions for this year? I believe we had a discussion about it a few weeks ago, but I'm really not sure on what has been decided on. Do we go back to the polls or keep on going with one person picking a book for the rest of the group?

Let us know what you prefer. We love people's input.

I had a goal of 70 books last year and I definitely didn't meet that. I had to lower it down to 60 and was only able to successfully complete that challenge only because of all the graphic novels that I read.

This year I'm setting it to 60 again but will only count books and not graphic novels.

Literally just started so no opinions yet. It's the 13th book in the series, her books tend to be similar to each other, but still enjoyable.

I'm doing a mini binge read cause I need to make up for lost times!

I'm a bit lost why this thing is hidden....

UPDATE: I get it now. It wasn't being used that's why it 'hid' itself!

HEIDI: Is it just me or are we missing a thread? I can't seem to find the post for currently reading, currently bought, etc.

UPDATE: never mind I found it!

JENNIFER: It was a unanimous decision last year that we were going to continue hidden gems for this year. Maybe next year we can alternate between polls and hidden gems.
