345441 So here's the thing. Keeping up with this and reading new releases which are often book 1 in a new series just isn't possible for me. So I've decided that new books that don't have a sequel out yet don't count. But I still want to keep track of them so here they are. (I'm including books that are only out on audio even if the physical sequels are out. If more are coming on audio, I'm waiting for that.)

Death Below Stairs
The Cruel Prince
Hot and Badgered
Hate to Want You
Realms of Ghosts and Magic
A Princess in Theory
The Kiss Quotient
Aru Shah and the End of Time
Wicked and the Wallflower
Peanut Butter and Jelly
Texas Destiny
The Adventure Zone: Here There Be Gerblins
Box of Frogs

And here are the books that I'm just plain behind on.

The Prince of the Pond: Otherwise Known as De Fawg Pin
Betsy-Tacy
The Raven Boys
The Highwayman
Firefighter Dragon
Cinder
Her Halloween Treat
The Princess And The Goblin

How to use a spoiler tag: (I believe these only work for the computer and not phone app, so beware!)

Above your comment box on the right there is a link that will create a pop up that you can copy and paste from - "(some html is ok)" Essentially all you have to do is write which chapter you're talking about at the top of your comment so we know when we can read it, and then put any spoilery text inside of the html and then your text will magically disappear! boom!

345441 Her Every Wish (The Worth Saga #1.5) by Courtney Milan
Her Every Wish by Courtney Milan

Crash has never let the circumstances of his birth, or his lack of a last name, bother him. His associations may be unsavory, but money, friends, and infamy open far more interesting doors than respect ever could. His sole regret? Once lovely, sweet Daisy Whitlaw learned the truth about how he made his fortune, she cut him off.

Daisy’s father is dead, her mother is in ill health, and her available funds have dwindled to a memory. When the local parish announces a Christmas charity bequest to help young people start a trade, it’s her last chance. So what if the grants are intended for men? If she’s good enough, she might bluff her way into a future.

When Crash offers to show her how to swagger with confidence, she knows he is up to no good. But with her life in the balance, she’s desperate enough to risk the one thing she hasn’t yet lost: her heart.

Okay, good! Thank you so much! I think I'll skip all the short stories for now and maybe go back to them if I end up falling in love with the world.

Oh, awesome! From the ongoing series on my list I didn't really like Elizabeth Hoyt, Anna Cambell, Lenora Bell, Eva Leigh, or Maya Rodale. I just like giving authors multiple authors before I completely cut them from my list. But off of my first impressions I wasn't impressed.

I still haven't gotten to our group books for the month! Yikes! But I'm so glad you liked it!!

That's such an awesome resource! Thank you! Do you feel like the novellas are necessary to the story? I may skip all of those. I had no idea that the 2 series were tied together like that.

345441 Alright! So it looks like we all disliked it! haha. Libby apparently DNF'd it too. I'm sorry I chose such a sucky book!! But in my defense it has a 4.4 on Goodreads.
Feb 06, 2018 12:03PM

345441 Ugh. I think I'm going to DNF. lol You're not encouraging me! I'm not reading anything right now because I'm dreading picking it up! I think that's the point where I just need to chuck it. But I feel so bad pulling out of a buddy read. BUT IT FILLS ME WITH DREAD!!! I'll definitely read all the spoilery things that you have to say though.

I don't think I'll be able to get through this one... I'm honestly disliking it so much. It's making me not want to read at all because I know I'm supposed to be reading it. So therefor I'm not picking up anything. I'm really bummed. Do you have any positive thoughts?

I totally understand where you're coming from. So different than I expected too. I guess we'll just have to see where it goes? haha

345441 I just started as well. Is anyone else being pulled out of the story by the language? It's so modern. One dragon literally just said "oh my gosh". *sigh*
