36901 I think I gave eragon five stars but im haven't read the others in the series as I've heard mixed reviews.

36901 Just a few which I've read and are great choices are hunger games, eragon, little women ( can't believe you haven't read this), secret garden, kissed by an angel (love this but don't know anyone else who has read this), Bridget jones diary (so funny!!), a Christmas carol (SO GOOD!).

36901 To avoid disappointment now I take films as completely separate to books. Ignore similar titles and any 'based on the book' signs and I find I enjoy films more this way as I am not expecting anything. It also helps if you've read the book ages ago and memory of details isn't so sharp I guess.

Well I can't say I'm surprised Teri-Lynn. Where is it? I'll have to have a look.

36901 Doesn't the link work anymore? It's just a random website list and had more variety than most lists so I chose that but we can change the odd book if we like. Most of us have.

36901 If no one wants to be an actual leader of discussion just leave it blank. I always do.

Hurrah!

36901 I think I may even have a copy.

36901 Nooooo! :( wish you had enjoyed it as much as I did.

36901 Oh yes, that was so weird and made it turn from a kind of realistic book to something else entirely. If she had this ability to go in people's bodies then she should have had it throughout.

36901 I think so but once we start I think we'll get an idea how long it's going to take us after a few days or a week.

36901 I've added the book to our group.
For next time:
Click on 'bookshelf' which is right on group home.
On left there is a search box.
Search book then just add relevant info, make sure to change to 'to read' as automatically goes to 'read'.
When it is time to read (20th) go on bookshelf again and click edit next to book and mark as currently reading as for some reason book goes of homepage on date set as it knows we are reading it but doesn't change automatically, though when done reading it should change automatically I think.

Does this make sense? I will let you change Geisha on 20th :)

36901 Me too. I doubt I read more than three.

36901 Never heard of that Austen. Can I ask why the ending was bad or will it be a spoiler?
Feb 05, 2014 07:02AM

36901 It is a book which is most enjoyable when a mid teen. Luckily I read them when I was.

36901 I was thinking that we could start group reads on a day other than 1st of the month as in another group we have done this to help with multiple group reads.
