Hello! For the month of October, we will be reading How the Scoundrel Seduces by Sabrina Jeffries. Remember this thread contains spoilers.
I'm glad to hear it. I really want to read it, but I have been so busy with school that I've fallen way behind on my reading.
For September, we are reading What a Duke Dares by Anna Campbell. Please remember that this thread may contain spoilers.
Thank you for your suggestions. I have chosen the books for the rest of 2014.They will be as follows:
August - Why Lords Lose Their Hearts - Manda Collins
September - What a Duke Dares - Anna Campbell
October - How the Scoundrel Seduces - Sabrina Jeffries
November - Darling Beast- Elizabeth Hoyt
December - Season for Desire- Theresa Romain
I will start a thread for 2015 book suggestions soon. Thanks again for all of your help!
For the month of August we will be reading Why Lords Lose Their Hearts by Manda Collins. Remember that this thread may contain spoilers.
For July we will be reading The Escape by Mary Balogh. Please remember that this thread may contain spoilers.
Sorry, I put it up early because I was gone for a wedding and I put the wrong author's name. If you looked at the one I posted on the Bookshelf, it is actually the Laura Lee Guhrke one. Sorry for the confusion. I didn't get a chance to check this until today.Kym, I'm glad you liked it. I have yet to read it. I might have to wait until my summer classes end on the 20th before I can start.
For June, we will be reading How to Lose a Duke in Ten Days by Laura Lee Guhrke. As usual, the discussion will be in this thread and it may contain spoilers.
Theresa, I love those plot lines too, with the heroine who whips a house and/or man into shape. While I was thinking she should just tell him just like Susan was, I still was able to enjoy the way she got the household in shape and made him eventually leave his room too.
Oh and Anna Campbell's newest, A Rake's Midnight Kiss is only $1.99 on Kindle. http://www.amazon.com/Rakes-Midnight-...
Eloisa's Three Weeks With Lady X is only $2.99 for Kindle right now. It's her newest one. http://www.amazon.com/Three-Weeks-Lad...
For the month of May, we will be reading Fool Me Twice by Meredith Duran. As always, this thread my contain spoilers.By the way, I read this in one sitting the other night. It has a nice Beauty and the Beast element to it. It's a fun read!
The awesome blog that used to put all of the historical novel new release dates is no longer available, so I need your suggestions and help! Please post upcoming or new releases that you would like to see added to the monthly read list. I won't be able to choose all of the books, but I will choose ones that I best think fit the theme of our group. Since we mostly read historical and regency novels, those will be chosen first. Please put the name of the book you would like to suggest in this thread and please include the release date too.
For the month of April we will be reading Three Weeks With Lady X by Eloisa James. Remember this thread may contain spoilers. Note: For May we are reading Fool Me Twice by Meredith Duran. If you have a Kindle or a Nook you can get the book for only $1.99 right now. :)

Spring Reading Challenge: Duration: April 1, 2013 – June 30, 2013After, this long winter, I thought a spring themed reading challenge was in order. You have 3 months to read 5 books that satisfy following requirements. While we are a romance book club, the books do not have to be romance novels to satisfy the requirement. In the attached thread, please put the book title and explain show how it meets the requirements.
1. Read a book whose title starts with one of the letters of the word SPRING.
2. Since April is known for April Showers, read a book with an umbrella, rain, or fog on the cover.
3. Since those showers bring May Flowers, read a book with a flower or flowers on the cover.
4. June is known for weddings, so read a book that features a wedding scene in it.
5. Read a book that is published in April, May or June 2014.
For the month of March, we will be reading Romancing the Duke by Tessa Dare. Remember this thread may contain spoilers.
Cindy - I don't think I ever came back here and told you, but I did watch Doctor Who and I am know a huge fan! I think I have watched most of them twice now. Thank goodness for Netflix. Did you see the 50th anniversary special yet?
