I think the Rick Grimes TWD movie trilogy is going to clear that up. I am still missing Rick Grimes on the regular show though. Last week's episode was awesome, especially with the fight between Daryl and Beta.

Man, this show is Gritty with a capital G. My kind of entertainment. I think, like Breaking Bad, it's really surpassing what it initially was."

Yeah, man. Alpha is a scary villain. So is Beta. It's just such a shame that Andrew Lincoln left the show. Maybe that's why people stopped watching it.

You are officially in my cool book. Return of the Living Dead II scared the SHIT out of me as a kid!

I agree, the Blade show was good. I love all things Blade, Marvel should give him his own monthly comic book series again.

45082 I used to think about that as a kid. "what would happen if a vampire bit a werewolf? Would you get a "werepire" or something??". LOL!! Then they did it in Underworld. But The Vampire Diaries, etc. had to copycat it. I think it's a cool idea, but zombie werewolf, zombie vampire, or something like wereolfvampireleprechaunzombie would be ridiculous.
45082 I like what Greg said, I'll have to read one of his books soon.

I think it's just trendy. Or maybe just a cool idea. Yeah, pit the two monsters against each other. Like Freddy Vs. Jason or Alien Vs. Predator, it's just something that fans put together. I like that.

It depends on what you read/watch. They need to kill people to live forever. That's evil.

45082 Overlooking their portrayal in pop culture over the past ten years or so...I'm going to go with Vampires. Vampires were always the scariest monster to me because they could blend in, and they just keep going while someone has to be bled to death every night for them to do so.

45082 Anyone been watching The Walking Dead this past season? I know it was tough to watch if you are a fan. And the cast members honestly said that it was tough to film cause it was so dark and their characters were getting bullied and beaten down.

My thing is....did anyone else but me notice that the barbed wire wrapped around Negan's 32" wooden baseball bat named "Lucille" has be slowly removed of it's barbs and nipped on the show?? This should be a YouTube video fan theory thing. I'm serious...look!!!!
Episode 16 of season 6 ( cliffhanger....yeah, we all hated it last year. MYSELF INCLUDED! But, get over it.)

Yeah, you can definitely see the sharp ass barbs there. I sure as shit would not want to die like that if I had a choice. LMAO.

And here is a shot from the season 7 mid-season finale, TWD episode 8, "Hearts Still Beating".
 photo the-walking-dead-negan-lucille-blood-620x360.jpg
And you can see it looks like they removed most of the barbs and clipped off the sharp points on the ones that are still left.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any photos of Lucille from the season 7 finale. However, if you watch this clip from the episode on YouTube, look carefully and you can see it's almost like there are no barbs left on the bat. Like it's just plain wire wrapped around it now...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSaNt...

Did you look?? Yeah, Rick's face is the really scary thing in that scene ( Actually, that's what I love about it. Rick is a bad-ass again). We hope Rick will get Negan for everything he's done ( at least I hope so. I read the comic books, so I know...(view spoiler) ).

My point is, why have a baseball bat wrapped in barbed wire if it's not sharp, deadly and intimidating actual barbed wire anymore? You might as well hand Jeffrey Dean Morgan a tree branch wrapped in thorns at this point if that's the case ( and absolutely no offense to him, he's been doing a great job!!).

Am I wrong? Are there still barbs on it? Or is it just another TWD special effects mistake?

45082 Yeah, a lot of people didn't like season 7 of TWD. I can see that, it did kind of drag. But, I have high hopes for season 8 All Out War. Hopefully not too many characters we like get killed off though.

Fear, however, is just garbage put out to make money. I hate to say that, but it's true.

LOL..."zompocalypse", I like that.

45082 Anyone watch Fear the Walking Dead? I love the original show, but I am definitely not a fan of the...um... "other show".

I tried to give it a chance. Season one was..meh...okay. But season two, when they were on that fucking boat for the first half, I was bored to tears! It was so boring I found myself playing with my phone or doing other things while I was supposed to be watching it. It kind of got a little better when they got to Mexico. The whole episode with the flashback with the former junkie kid was actually kind of interesting. But after that I just stopped watching it...without even thinking about it. I gave it a chance, but the show is boring as shit. It has almost no ties to the original show...which I hate. And that is why they can't call it a "spin-off" or even "prequel", they call it "the companion series". Which is lame.

What I think might have made it better, was if they did something similar to what Vince Gilligan does with Better Call Saul, where if they had characters who were killed off on The Walking Dead do cameos on Fear the Walking Dead. But they didn't do that.

It doesn't even have any ties to the comic book!! I didn't even watch the premiere of season three last night. I'm done.

45082 The Lost Boys has always been, in my opinion, one of the greatest vampire films ever made. True, some aspects of the film may be a little dated, and some of the humor may be a little campy by today's standards...but hey, I grew up on that movie damn it and still love it. I still have a Lost Boys poster hanging on my wall! Just a great story along with a really talented cast as well as talented people who worked on the film like Joel Schumacher(director) and Michael Chapman who was the same cinematographer that shot Taxi Driver and Raging Bull. And let's not forget Greg Cannom, the Academy Award winning make-up artist who did the vampire make-up/prosthetics. He made the vampires in that film look scary and cool while not overdoing it at the same time. Whenever a cool vampire movie comes out I'm always like, "What are the vampires gonna look like?" .

Well, remember the one vampire in the movie named Paul? You know, the one that get's killed in the bathtub full of garlic and holy water?

EDGAR FROG:We trashed the one that looks like Twisted Sister!
ALLAN FROG:Totally annihilated it's night stalking ass!

Sadly, that actor died today. His name was Brooke McCarter. He passed away at age 52 after a long-term battle with a genetic liver condition . That's the third person from that film to die in recent years. Bernard Hughes who played Grandpa died at an old age. Corey Haim, we all know he died tragically.

R.I.P Brooke McCarter....you were awesome as Paul.
