I'm ok, thanks, -sorta. :PIf you're able, it would be nice if you could come join us for Kraken over at MV- I think we're aiming for late June to early July.
Atmo they're reading King Rat.
Hope your abscess clears- that can be a terrible thing to keep you awake at night...
Cool! about the Murakami, much less cool about the abscess. Sorry to hear about that.Re the Mieville chat- just need to do Kraken still, and then I guess we are good to go!

Will do! And we'll welcome you back any time that you are ready and able. :)
Ha, Delanye, I like your 'telegraph' style. Glad you enjoyed We-- we're discussing it over at Mievillians right now. We're missing you over there, btw! I hope you can one day rejoin us, because we've moved on from reading just Mièville to reading all kinds of interesting speculative lit.Been reading some lit theory books as well and was hoping to do The Brothers Karamazov, but I don't think I'm going to be able to fit it in in time for the group that's currently reading it... :(
Hi Delanye, long time no see. As you probably know already, I'm reading WeHow are the travels going these days?
I've already said Happy New Year, but could say it again... :)Although I've enjoyed Irwin Shaw, certain white maleness I don't think I even want to succumb to.
Ernie H. is just not my type although I enjoy a few of his yarns, and so I've never bothered to even look at Bellow.
Would be interested to see your feedback on your experience of great white maleness, Ellie. :D
I hope you had a Merry Christmas, everyone, and wishing you a happy and fruitful new year for 2014. :)Btw! During our Christmas get together, I downloaded 230 Gigabytes worth of movies from my brother's external hard drive he had with him, and so, I must admit that family and movie viewing have been interfering somewhat with my reading. *blush*
Ok, Delanye, won't do it again. :) Yes, I know your name is Delanye, but I never knew you disliked the 'mag' part. For interest's sake, what is the Mag part of the nickname for?
On the road again? Is that why you've not been posting on the IC discussion, Magdelanye? I've been wondering where you were.

XOXO to you, Mags! I promise I will personally continue your fan-fic come late June, ok? Things are just too busy right now...
Oh, bc you can't get hold of it in the desert, I suppose. Well, then I guess you did get lucky, M. Enjoy.
Allende, nice! Asimov, meh.Why don't you read Le Guin's The Left Hand of Darkness with us next week?
I hope you're not upset with me bc of the fanfic? I've not completely finished the Scar, actually, and many others there haven't either.
Mags, to delete a friend, go to their profile and scroll right down to the bottom and right down at the very bottom in small text that appears greyed out, you will see the option: 'remove as friend'.
