"You really are stubborn," Raizel said, without a hint of annoyance in his voice. Instead, he was quite amazed by her attitude. "Okay. You win."
Raizel sighed. "I'm alright. I've survived more fatal wounds than this." He sped up, thinking of his parents and what would their reaction be once they find out what he'd done.
"If we don't make too many stops, a two days will do,' Raizel said. "I think tonight it's best to just make a camp in the forest than to go to a town to rent a room in an in."
Raizel sighed. "I understand your feelings about the matter and the sooner we meet my parents the better. This is not only for us but for both our people as well."
Raizel looked away guiltily. He had the same experience on his first day in the battle field. He learned to accept the reality that death will always be there. But that did not mean that he won't do anything to stop it. He sighed. "In time you won't see it anymore. For now we just have to do all our best."
Raizel sighed. It seemed like he had gone too far. "Look," he said. "I'm sorry and I didn't mean like that. You're a very desirable woman but you're just not my type. We both don't like this...and I think that we should at least be civilized with each other."
"It's up to you," Raizel teased. "I'm just going to be reprimanded for awhile but you will surely be a hostage and the war would start again if they find out."
Raizel chuckled. "I'm not asking you to get me one," he said. "I already have one from someone." He looked dreamy as if remembering someone special.
Raizel chuckled. "Well, me I fulfilled the promise I made to myself when I was young. I promised I wouldn't marry someone from Westnoth. My brothers went nuts laughing so hard. Now it's going to come true."
"Because they will think that I had been coerced into saying that I love you. Moreover, we have been warring for centuries. Although all reasons were lost, war still rage. We can't stop a couple of centuries old war that fast, anyway."
The war-horse started moving. Raizel decided that he should take it slow at first and then in the last three days of the journey let the horse gallop to its heart's content. He gritted his teeth as pain shot all over his body because of the wound. "Better then."
Raizel inhaled sharply. But tried to ignore the feeling. "Did you tell that man everything?" he asked, worriedly.
"You can send a messenger to your parents. I'm planning to go there anyway to meet your family and as for my health, I'll be alright. My condition does not matter now because if we don't arrive there in one week, my parents will press a war to happen,' Raizel explained. "So please hurry up."
"I'm being called to the People's Palace," Raizel said. "You're going to meet my parents in a week, if we're fast enough." Those who had heard what the second Prince of Behemoth cheered for the both of them.
