Ah, well I think he sounds like a lovely person. I'll be buying his book on Amazon.

Reasons to Stay Alive is 99p on Amazon kindle today. The author is the same who wrote the excellent The Humans.

I am just about to start this so if anyone else is reading it, do let me know what you thought of it. I've read two other books of Margaret Atwood, so am looking forward to this one.

A Town Like Alice is 99p on amazon today, which is typical as I just read it from the library.

Also at 99p today is Brighton Rock

Both of which I can highly recommend.

The Reluctant Fundamentalist is at 99p today on Amazon.

Although double checking the SPQR doesn't appear at 99p on Amazon but at £3.29, which although I am sure is a bargain considering all the hours Mary Beard must have poured into the book along with her knowledge, is still not the 99p that was advertised to me.

At 99p on Amazon today is The Plague and which is one of my 5 star reads

Also at 99p today is Why We Sleep: Unlocking the Power of Sleep and Dreams, which I would have thought would be a short book. Page 1. We sleep because we get tired. Page 2. The end.

I only mention this one because this is supposed to be a bestseller.
