It's a Mitch Albom's book guys, my rating starts always from 3-5. :D
Albom writes about the Father Time, a story that has an infinite potential and yet didn't meet the expectations. It starts slow and boring, but at the middle you can't stop reading till you finish it. An awesome idea, as all of Albom's books and the writing is perfect.

Once I started this year's challenge, a friend asked: "What's in it for you? And what would the perfect book for you?" I said "Challenging my self. About the second question, it's a book that makes you weep, laugh and think."
This is one of those I loved this year.
Such a perfect story, perfect writing and genius characters.
I listened to half of it, then read the rest and never regretted the choice. Loved it to the bone. Definitely reading Looking for Alaska.

لم أعتد قراءة قصص الحب، وأمل منها سريعًا لكن توفيق الحكيم لا يكتب فقط عن الحب، بل يكتب عن الحب والروح والترابط والإيمان والخيال.
أقل من مئتا صفحة كانت متعة سريعة لقصر الكتاب وجماله، اللغة الجميلة الرزينة السلسة التي تمتع القرّاء ممزوجةً مع الأفكار التي سطرها الكتاب بدون تلميح.
النقاش الأخير في الكتاب كان جميلًا جدًّا وقويًّا، والعجيب أن الرواية من عام 1938 ونحن مازلنا كما وصفنا توفيق. الله يغير الحال.

بالتأكيد أحسن من الاثنين اللي مضوا، الرواية ممتعة، وأخيرًا تزوج شريف عبير وابتدأت قصة حبهما وفانتازيا! أتوقع أني سأتوقف لفترة عن روايات فانتازيا ولربما أعود إليها.

مو الكتاب اللي تتوقعه بعد البداية اللي كانت ممتعة، لربما لو كان كتابًا منفردًا كان حصل على 3 كأقصى حد.
يبقى الكتاب جميل ولكنه مقارنةً بأعمال أحمد توفيق الماضية هذا لا شيء.

برضه مثل العدد السابق كانت قصة ضعيفة وشخصية جيمس بوند كريهة ومملة وعامل الجذب الوحيد لي في الرواية هي إسقاطات أحمد توفيق المضحكة على الشخصية البلهاء لبوند.

واو؟ يب.
رابع كتاب ومازلت أنبهر بـ الدكتور أحمد توفيق، هذي بداية سلسلة جميلة إن شاءالله!
الرواية جميلة جدًّا وكانت سريعة نوعًا ما وتركت بعض التفاصيل لكنها وصفت الشخصيات بشكل جميل وواضح. أتوقع أن الكاتب لم يفصّل بشكل كامل لإنه مازال هناك أكثر من 50 كتابًا!
عجبتني الفكرة والجهاز دي جي 01، وأتمنى أن لا تكون الروايات القادمة مجرد تكملة بسيطة بدون صعوبات وفروقات ثقيلة تحصل.
لربما ما جعلني أنقصه نجمة هو ضعف القصة البوليسية الموجودة والتي لا تليق بتاريخ أعظم كاتبين بوليسيين في التاريخ، ولكن غير ذلك تبقى الرواية جميلة جدًّا وتستاهل القراءة.

كتاب خفيف ومليئة بالسخرية المضحكة، الكتاب يتكون من عدة مقالات كتبها أحمد خالد توفيق ونشرها في كتاب، مع إني أكره الكتب المليئة بالمقالات لكن هذا الكتاب يستاهل القراءة.
الدكتور دمه خفيف، ولغته جميلة جدًّا. <3

The Buddha in The AtticJulie Otsuka

I did like it. I did like the writing, but still. I loved the idea of narrating the hard life Japanese faced in those days.
It was actually an interesting book, but boring. It's far away from being a page-turner. The sequence was actually boring but easy to follow.
I've read a lot of articles and watched lots of videos that talk about the Japanese immigration back in those days and I would recommend this to anyone interested in that subject.

ماشاء الله تبارك الله، كل مالي أحترم هذا الرجل حتى أكاد أن أعلنه من المفضلين لي بعد كتابين فقط!
جميلة القصاصات، ولا تستاهل الحرق ولكن التوزيع والطبع والتعليق في كل الجدران! أسلوب سخري جميل وخفيف وقصاصات على الجرح.
كنت قد قرأت كتاب لـ محمد الرطيان بنفس هذه الطريقة، كلاهما في نفس المستوى بالنسبة لي، ولو كنت أرجح كفّة الأول لأنه مسّ قضايا تخص مجتمعنا بشكل أكبر، ولكن مازال هذا الكتاب من أجمل ما قرأت.

من زمان. من زمان، عن رواية بمثل هذه القوة، يبدو أن نصيبي في الروايات السوداوية مازال يتزايد - أأجذبها بنفسي أو لسبب لا أعلمه؟ - ولكني دائمًا ما أقيّم الروايات على ماكتب لا على نوعها.
تغيرت مصر يا أحمد، وثارت العالم. ثاروا ولم يتحملوا، نظرة الكاتب للحالة التي ينعدم فيها وجود الطبقة المتوسطة وفحش الغناء وازدياد الفقراء موجودة، ويبدو أن المستقبل مليءٌ بها. لا أقول أن ماذُكِر سيحصل، ولكن سيكون المستقبل - إذا لم يتحسن الحال - قريبٌ منه جدًّا.
الرواية تستاهل القراءة! للأسف لم أجد الكتاب في أغلب المكتبات في المملكة العربية السعودية وهذا الشيء يزعلني، وقرأت النسخة الإلكترونية والتي للأسف ذات جودة سيئة، ومع ذلك مازال الكتاب من أفضل ماقرأت!
