For those of you who might have an e-reader we have launched ourselves on Net Galley! You can find Transworld Publishers here: https://www.netgalley.com/catalog/lis...
I'll add the next book group choice on there so it's instantaneously accessible! I'll be keeping an eye on requests so do let me know if you're waiting on approval.
This thread is for suggestions as to which books we should put on there and for any feedback.
I do send me your address! Nikki-ann I have read The Asylum in manuscript form, and it is completley and utterly amazing!! One of my top picks for 2013!
Thanks Nikki-ann lovely review. Next year there's a new one coming called The Asylum which I'm so excited about!
After a bit of a gap (my apologies) may I present to you the third book club offering from Transworld Publishers! It's a Scandinavian crime novel, published in December; The Quarry by Johan Theorin.
This is his third novel (not a series) set on the Baltic island of Öland. Theorin writes stand alone chillers, atmospheric, haunting and powerful. Throughout his life, Johan has been a regular visitor to the Baltic island of Öland, where many of his books are set. His mother's family - sailors, fishermen and farmers - have lived there for centuries, nurturing the island's rich legacy of strange tales and folklore.
If you'd like a copy just let me know!
The details aren't coming up on Goodreads just yet so for more information and to see the cover - head on over to Amazon.

Lots of crime being read at the moment. I'm reading Retribution by Val McDermid for a book club, so far so good! I haven't picked up Fifty Shades of Grey yet, I'm not really sure it's my cup of tea!
Yep Seven paperback books - stuffed in hold luggage and hand luggage, after all who needs clothes! I will definitely be there at Harrogate, come and say hello!
So pleased lots of you like it - in my opinion they just keep getting better and better. Returning to the Peculiar Crimes Unit for me is a special treat I try to keep hold of. Definitely Laura - message me your address and i'll send you one.
Having recently come back from a holiday where I took seven books with me, I'm intrigued as to what you're all taking on holiday with you this summer if you're going away...
So starting off with an easy question - did you enjoy Full Dark House or another Chris Fowler book? And how important do you think the relationship between Bryant & May was to your enjoyment/dislike?
I am about to start my first Jasper Fforde - The Eyre Affair am taking it on holiday with me as well as Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell which is huge! Didn't realise it was such a big book!
Lindsay (Little Reader Library) wrote: "I have got The War of the Wives by Tamar Cohen to read for review for a magazine, and I am really enjoying it so far. It's such a clever idea for a story!"Hi Lindsay that's exciting, which magazine? So pleased you like it!
