I have to say I'm a little disappointed in this summer's reading, very few made it past three stars, and it all felt underwhelming.
For some reason this time around I couldn't get myself to post any updates. And I really think I need to come up with another way to keep up with what I've read outside of Goodreads.Read:
Hoping to finish today:
I kept telling myself to do a check in before now but then, for some reason, never did.Christmas reads:
Didn't finish:
Fa La La La Films: Too many to count! I was keeping a list but lost track sometime last week.

I don't think I've ever joined this one, it's definitely been a while since I've joined any challenges. I totally flopped on last month's Frightfall so I'm looking forward to see where I can go with this one.
I'm not sure if I haven't been in the mood to sit and read (I've been doing pretty well with audiobooks while working on things) or if I'm just procrastinating because the books I want to read are really long; despite repeatedly reminding myself to pick shorter one.I also don't know why I'm on such a nonfiction kick lately.

My reading has been slow lately, but Great or Nothing is really bringing me back.

I try to now, but since I'm home I feel like it's harder to focus. (As opposed to when I was in a room full of people, go figure.)

Alas, each of the sequels is a bit weaker than..."I'm not sure I was aware that Stepford Wives and Rosemary's Baby were from the same author. I read Stepford wives years ago and wasn't all that crazy about it; and Rosemary's Baby has been on my list for awhile now.
I'm still just starting Mexican Gothic, I feel like it's a slow build up but something about the style has caught my attention enough. As for Miss Peregrine, I only have the first three and will probably see how I feel about continuing afterward, I hadn't realized the series had gotten so long.

I'm also reading
(which is a reread I have the following two books but don't remember a thing.)

I could not get myself to read the first half of this month, (I was going through something but the real problem was most definitely my overthinking it.)Did manage to get back this weekend and finished:

Which I'm not entirely loving but I like that I am reading through it quickly which is probably what I need right now.
