My goal this year is to eliminate my hoard. I'm trying really hard not to buy any new books, although I may have just suffered a setback because while cleaning today I found a giftcard to my favorite bookstore. Fuuuuuuuu.
Reading has always made me feel as if I am not alone. They're more wholly satisfying than movies because I am ensconced in a private place, constructed by the author but left for me to furnish: it's like the ideal summer home, except year-round.
Someone made me fanart for one of my books today!https://www.facebook.com/aficionenias...
It's one of the coolest things people have done for my books in a while and I was so happy.
Aww. <3I love food too. I'm so excited about the phone because now I can take pictures of all the yummy food I eat! There were people on my flist who'd never tried/heard of boba before! :o

I got a phone with internet for the first time in my life (I'm 25). Now I'm addicted to Instagram. >_>http://instagram.com/neniagram
Ooh, I'd love to help give recs too! I'm pretty good. :DGive me your favorite book and I'll find you five more like it!
It's been kind of bad for me. I hoard books and now with ebooks being so accessible, I hoard online and irl. It's so bad. I probably have about 4,000 books in total. >_<
If there was an award for niceness, I'd only win second place because the main prize would go to you, Booknut. :)Ooh, I was looking at that movie in an issue of Redbook. It seemed like THE HELP, only set in India.
I'm convinced that Bella and James would have been an awesome couple with loads of hate-sex and wangst.
I've heard mixed things about Colleen Hoover. Some of my trusted friends like her, some don't.I hear TANGLED and EASY are supposed to be good, and my friend Leah Raeder's book, UNTEACHABLE, but I haven't read them yet. :)
I did JUST obtain a copy of ANGELFALL though!
I always read the negative reviews of a popular book before making a decision because at least then I know what I'm in for. If there are no/few negative reviews, I am suspicious. It makes me think that the reviews are either fake or part of a very aggressive street team.As an author who reviews with brutal honesty, I tend to get a lot of flack from people who don't think I should say anything mean about other authors' books. But I blogged for about four or five years before publishing so I'd feel funny giving all that up since a lot of my friends added me just because they enjoyed my reviews.
I really don't like this book.
Actually, most of the books on my new-adult shelf, I didn't like. Especially THE EDGE OF NEVER. I get all ragebeasty just thinking about that book. >_<
Maybe I am too old.
Someone on Twitter told me I should win an Author of the Year award for being so nice. That made me happy.
I'm glad people think I'm nice. :o)
