67080 Oh how Madison so despised mornings, the reason why, frustrating traffic jams. They were the main cause of her not being able to make it to homeroom on time. And now as she sat stuck right in the middle of a huge sea of cars, in teeth-gnashing frustration, she realized she was going to be late again. Out of boredom shooting a glance up at the sky through her windshield caused heavy duty shock to race through her. A ghastly zombie was descending down from the sky.

67080 Like all the rest of the author's books I found Clockwork Princess quite enjoyable, and in answer to the question on the top of the page, no.

67080 Here's what I came up with, and the best part is the wormhole opening Fairy Dust.

AURORA

Another place and time and unreachable from Earth was where Seraph existed. A magic realm, where in addition to Fae, the dominate species, ruled by Aurora, known best for her exquisite beauty, resided nightmarish creatures. Blood thirsty vampires, ferocious werewolves, giants and gargoyles, and yes the worst of them all Elves. Elves, who craved the taste of Fae flesh. Each of these specific creatures having their own place in Seraph, the elves taking up residence in a land called Hur’ar.

****

Aurora's gazing out with pleased eyes onto the vast green countryside of Crystal Winters from her square shaped castle balcony caused a tremendous wave of blissful happiness to rise in her. A perfect cool breeze blowing in a gentle manner against her graceful, youthful face filled her with an immediate relaxed, comforting sensation to combine with the pleasant emotion she already felt.
The reason behind the place where she grew up and now ruled as princess being called such a graceful sounding name; its lakes and rivers freezing up and taking on such a lovely appearance during its long winters.
Continuing to remain standing there, Aurora was interrupted from further thinking about this with the act of her identical twin sister Everlista gifted with graceful looks matching her own rushing in without any warning whatsoever. Unlike her, Everlista was known best for being an expert in regularly getting in trouble way over her head rushing in without any warning whatsoever.
Turning to face Everlista allowed Aurora the opportunity to see with her own two eyes, her sister’s face dominated by a tremendous nervousness. Her seeing this brought forth the indication she indeed once again had acted without thinking in whatever she had done.
“The way you’ve rushed into my bed chamber tells me once again you’ve done something to get in trouble way over your head Everlista,” she said positioning herself to stand in such a way so they were allowed to converse face to face. “What was it this time around?”
“I’ve stolen several satchel bags full of golden fairy dust from the venomous, king of the Elves Ratherford!”
“Everlista I can't believe you to be so dense as to do such a thing! Do you realize how much trouble that’s going to rain down upon our heads, especially since both you and I know Elves have a fondness for snatching up Fae men, women and children for the specific act of consumption?”

SCARLETT

Walking at a slow pace on the long strip of sidewalk lying right outside Calvary Cemetery on the outskirts of Evanston, under cover of a full moon, sixteen year old Scarlett Peterson, now going by the false name of Amy Roseman, had only one thing on her mind getting back home. Where she was heading from, her best friend Belle Silver’s house; and much like her, her best friend also was guilty of being a werewolf.
Things always hadn’t been that way for Scarlett. Up until age ten, living comfortably in Midnight Grove Illinois, she had been an ordinary human. That all changed when she met Brian Conters. Or rather his simple bite, delivered to her right index finger as she handed him a pencil he asked her for out of the goodness of her heart.
It was a mistake which would change her life completely.
“Mrs. Lakeland, Brian bit me!” Scarlett cried out, overcome with pure surprise immediately following the deed being done. In addition feeling a slight amount of pain, as well as a small amount of blood starting to flow from the bite he gave her. This caused the thirty-something year old teacher to hurry over to them.
“Brian, we just don’t go around biting your fellow classmates,” she said in a bold, yet gentle voice. “Now please say sorry to Scarlett.”
“I’m sorry,” he said in a one hundred percent believable voice.

****

It wasn’t until a few days later in which Scarlett just happened to discover what Brian’s bite infected her with. As the full moon’s light flooded her bedroom, out of nowhere, she started feeling a hot burning sensation strike her out of nowhere. Likened to a hundred plus fever, Scarlett was quick to realize. Further shocked surprise was driven into her as also from out of nowhere, she saw with her own two eyes, chestnut brown hair, matching the color of the hair on her head start sprouting out from her right hand. Just what was happened to her, she thought feverishly, frantically.
“Mommy, Daddy!”
She screamed fearfully.
Seconds passing, growing into a full minute, two, three, caused the hair sprouting out of nowhere to cover the entirety of her arm. But this wasn’t the only place on her ten year old body it started growing out of, her face as well; as she saw by shooting a sudden glance at the life-size mirror furnishing her bedroom.
And then her parents burst into her bedroom, nervous concern covering their faces.
“What’s wrong Scarlett sweetheart?” her mom, Diane asked in a tremendously concerned voice.
And then they saw what was happening to their precious ten year old daughter.
“I don’t believe it,” her father James said in disbelief. “Our daughter’s been infected, and has been turned into a werewolf.”
“Mom, Dad, I’m sorry, it wasn’t my fault!”
“Oh don’t worry Scarlett honey, we know it wasn’t,” Diane replied in a comforting voice.
“Yeah everything’s going to be all right,” James said.
But everything wasn’t ‘all right,’ she could see it in their eyes they were terrified beyond belief of what she now had become, all thanks to Brian and her bite.
Within an hour Scarlett made the decision to run away from home. Save her parents the fear from having whatever she was now in their home.

As days passed, and Scarlett somehow managed to travel all the way to Chicago’s East Rogers Park, she started feeling pangs of hunger start to dominate her. The worst part of this, she had a great amount of difficulty in keeping whatever Brian had transformed her into bottled up inside her whenever the full moon appeared in the night sky.
But of course, Scarlett realized she couldn’t keep this up forever. She desperately needed to find food, as well as someone like her. Someone with a heart and understood her plight.

And then she spotted her; her, she, with hair starting to sprout out of her face.
With whoever this girl, sixteen or seventeen was, seeing her as well, she brought her transformation to a sudden end.
“Hey there, I know who and what you are little girl,” she said to Scarlett in a kind, gentle voice. “Werewolf.”
So that was what Brian had made her into.
“My name’s Elizabeth Masters and I belong to a pack of others like us and I want to join us. Do you want that, wait a second what’s your name?”
“Scarlett Peterson.”
“Well since with you being so young, there’s bound to be someone looking for you sooner or later, like your parents. Why don’t we change your name for starters?”
“Sure okay,” Scarlett eagerly replied.
“Now let’s see,” Elizabeth said moving toward and squatting down before her. “You look like an Amy Roseman, you okay with that name Scarlett?”
“Yeah uh-huh,” she said.
“Good,” Elizabeth said straightening back up to a standing position, taking her by the hand and starting to lead her off. “Now come on, let’s go meet the other pack members.”

67080 I put some of my NANO novel into this, and the answer came up as Margaret Atwood.
Other authors which came up as I put more pages of other non NANO novel writing in, Jane Austen twice. Others, James Joyce, David Foster Wallace, Mark Twain twice, Ian Fleming, L. Frank Baum, even Stephanie Meyer once. Putting more writing in, each one of these authors names kept coming up. I just got Anne Rice, J.R.R Tolkien. Ursula K. Le Guin

67080 White snow flakes specks drop from the sky

Outside the window

The fire burns hotly warming us considerably

Shiny colorful ornaments are glistening

As they hang from the Christmas tree

Presents of all shapes and sizes wrapped tight underneath it

The delicious smell of roast turkey streaming into our nostrils flows from the kitchen

Harmonic Christmas flavored music flooding our ears

Merry Christmas and happy holiday to all

Fills my thoughts
