Can you rename the folder September 2018?

I'm reading Still Star-Crossed by Melinda Taub
. It's a sequel to Romeo & Juliet. There was a ABC show based on the book that only lasted a season but I enjoyed it.

Theme recommendation: reimagined classics. My book club read Cinder recently and ended up reading the entire series.

I'm reading
Who Fears Death by Nnedi Okorafor. It's the author's first non-YA book and it's wonderful. If you like dystopian novels, I highly recommend this one. Okorafor is partnering with George R.R. Martin to develop the book into a series for HBO.

I'm reading Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of SecretsFans are encouraged to reread the series and join in on the Pottermore Book Club that discusses themes every Friday on Twitter.

I'm reading A Darker Shade of Magic (
by V. E. Schwab.

" What did you think of it? I haven't gotten a chance to read it, I'm on the wait..."I huge chunk of the book has Anita navigating her love life. I enjoyed the case Anita and Edward worked on since it takes place in Ireland where Damian became a vampire. The fey have a role in the novel that adds spice since it's been years since a member of the fey appeared in a novel. This book gives readers a peek into Edward's past that you'll enjoy. It was an okay installment in the series. I enjoy Anita Blake novels but wish that she had fewer lovers to keep track of. Her connection to many of them don't drive an interesting subplot.

I'm reading Crimson Death (Anita Blake # 25) by Laurell K. Hamilton.

I'm reading The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley

I'll read Written In My Heart's Own Blood by Diana Gabaldon.

I'm reading
Who Fears Death by Nnedi Okorafor. It was recommended to me since I enjoy Octavia Butler's sci fi/fantasy novels.

I'll read Lean In by Sheryl Sandberg

I'm going to read "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks" by Rebecca Sklott

I'll read Sin Eaters: Devotion Book One by Kai Leakes.
It's Leakes' debut novel so I'm looking forward to a paranormal story with a different angle.

I'm reading Parable of the Sower by Octavia Butler. It's one of her most popular titles that I'm finally getting to read.

American Gods - Neil Gaiman
Water for Elephants - Sara Gruen
Tree of Smoke - Denis Johnson
War & Peace - Leo Tolstoy
Dispatch - Bentley Little
Revolutionary Road - Richard Yates
Empire Falls - Richard Russo
The Godfather Returns - Mark Winegardner
King included four pages of recommendations in On Writing!

Stephen King does a good job of showing readers what events shaped him as a writer and giving advice to new writers. King completed the book while recovering from a brutal accident which speaks about his love for the craft.
King recommends lots of readig to improve one's writing skills and provides a list of recent books he enjoyed. I was disappointed by the lack of books written by people of color.
