70438 I'm reading Who Fears Death by Nnedi Okorafor. It's the author's first non-YA book and it's wonderful. If you like dystopian novels, I highly recommend this one. Okorafor is partnering with George R.R. Martin to develop the book into a series for HBO.

I huge chunk of the book has Anita navigating her love life. I enjoyed the case Anita and Edward worked on since it takes place in Ireland where Damian became a vampire. The fey have a role in the novel that adds spice since it's been years since a member of the fey appeared in a novel. This book gives readers a peek into Edward's past that you'll enjoy. It was an okay installment in the series. I enjoy Anita Blake novels but wish that she had fewer lovers to keep track of. Her connection to many of them don't drive an interesting subplot.

It does show the divide but I understand that King is a member of a generation that wasn't required to read books written by or about people of color. It's changing as people understand the importance of reading about different cultures.

70438 Stephen King does a good job of showing readers what events shaped him as a writer and giving advice to new writers. King completed the book while recovering from a brutal accident which speaks about his love for the craft.

King recommends lots of readig to improve one's writing skills and provides a list of recent books he enjoyed. I was disappointed by the lack of books written by people of color.
