Just found the arrow. But it’s really not obvious how to look at things in the app. Better on the website, but I’m often on my phone.
I have no idea how to go to a previous page in a discussion on the app. So I’ve turned off notifications as it’s basically useless to tell me I’ve got them when I don’t even know what the discussion is about. Maybe not a bug, but irritating.
These threads never display properly for me on the phone app. I’ve just worked out I can copy the URL and open it in a browser so I can actually see what the books are!!!

Just got my copy of The Daughter's Tale in the mail - thank you so much S & S! And Goodreads for letting us know about it. Looking forward to reading it.
I don't know why I missed the post earlier about Working Class Man - wouldn't have bothered linking it if I'd realised it was already mentioned.
I enjoyed it quite a lot, but I had hoped that David wasn't really dead. I also thought the next books would continue their story, but they actually take a different person's viewpoint.

Oh well, it came to mind so it was worth a try.
On phone, can’t link properly, but maybe Before We MetEdit - went over to the computer so I could do it properly.

I hate it when to wrap up the story, some ridiculously implausible situation occurs that makes it easy to tidy up loose ends. I like reading quite realistic novels, with all the drudgery of modern life. But I do like to have little twists. Most of all though, I hate it when I finish and I have loads of questions about what happened next, because they've just left it without this!!!
For a book that I've never heard of, and don't know the author, but it sounds interesting, I'll usually pay up to about $6 AUD. However, once I know I like them, I'll usually pay up to about $14 AUD. On average, I like to keep my purchases between $6-8 AUD.
I'm still paying less than buying it in physical form usually, and I don't have to worry about finding somewhere for it to be stored, plus I don't have to worry about dragging it around with me while I'm reading it. Plus, if I can't remember if I've already read it, I can quickly open my Kindle and check!!!
So many pluses for ebooks.
However, there is still a great need for real books - depending on what they are, why you want them, who wants them.
I stayed at a caravan park in Mt Isa, where we saw these gorgeous green tree frogs hiding inside the toilets.
I think it's going to be too hard for me, I'm already somewhere else right about the same time of day. Sorry about that. Maybe next time!
