Too hot - I kept my son home from school today because he was sick all week, and his school still doesn't have air conditioning. Poor thing already has a fever. He's curled up under the air con now looking miserable.

The app for borrowing from my library has it's own "night" option. My library uses Axis360 and BorrowBox
I voted, only a few categories I could vote in as I haven't read much from 2015, was glad to see Beacon 23 by Hugh Howey there though.

I have too many books to read - I've been working on getting through some books off my to-read list, and even though I've read 50 books this year, my to-read list has grown by 80 titles :( Out of the 250+ books on my to-read list, I have at least 80 of them ready to read. I've banned myself from buying more till I've read more - and have started to hit the library hard, so no-win.

I haven't tried orange chocolate tea - but I have falling in love with McD's coffee with a shot of caramel - it's been my guilty pleasure of late.
I haven't tried Amazon service, I've only been successful at d/l one of the apps so far, still trying for borrow box. My kindle has a dictionary (just to point out) but it doesn't work on the Axis360 app - which is seriously disappointing.
Okay so I'll keep it short, but I bought a Kindle Fire basically so I could take advantage of the ebooks from my library, only there's a few issues I've found.1st - no access with no internet, you have to have wifi on to read the book, which means I can't read it at the bus stop :(
2nd - no dictionary, which is one the main advantages of using an ereader.
3rd - you need 2 different apps to "Borrow" a book, but can only d/l by rooting your kindle?
Basically feel's like its only set up for mobile phone use - not an actual ereader :(

Well I'm bruised and fell battered but I'm alive and okay. Everyone loves the image of me hanging from the bathroom window by my knee. I understand the relief booktopia can be - I've just recently placed my first order, and the books I got where delivered quickly. They were half the price of what I've seen of shelves :) But most of my purchases are with amazon for my ereader, although I now have a Kindle Fire, i can use the apps to "borrow" a ebook or audiobook from the library :)

I've been making the most of the fact my local library no longer charges for inter-library loans, and have been hitting their shelves hard. Good news is I've read over 20 books this year from my to read list, sadly my to-read list has grown rather than shrank.I've also been lucky to win 2 books from the giveaway section (finding 1 of them was the cause of me walking back in and leaving with the key's next to the book) so I have some actual reading to do, I've been getting into audiobooks whilst doing the adult colouring of late.
Thank you - I'll try that next time, I had entered several versions of the wording, and nothing came up. May I ask how we add a cover to a book? the audiobook The War Of The Worlds doesn't have an image, despite there being several versions over the years. Do we ask an librarian or can we add an edition?
Could you add a books for me? http://www.booktopia.com.au/art-thera... I can't find it on Goodreads with or without the "u". I imagine there is an influx of these type of books being added to goodreads with the increase in popularity, but I love the above book best so far. I find them good to do whilst listening to an audiobook.

Oh Rita, that sounds like something I'ld do, and have done once but in a larger patio that was 3m x 1.5m so at least I had a little room, and for some reason, my book - but I was stuck out there for 4 hours. I'm sore and battered and a little ashamed that I even thought I could fit through the window in the first place. I ended up getting a young fit neighbour to go through the window for me - and then went and got a spare key cut so this won't happen again.

Okay for a laugh I'll share my day - I locked myself out of home, and tried to let myself in through the bathroom window, which turned out to be too small for my ample bosom, and I twisted myself to the point of falling out the window, and hanging from my knee, then my ankle. I'm on the second floor, and was seriously scared at some point, but I can see the funny side now, and I'll laugh now as I imagine I'll be quite saw tomorrow. Long story short, I ended up hurting my knee, and was still locked outside, but I keep smiling at the image of me hanging from the bathroom window, upside down.Hope your day went better than mine, as that was just the beginning.
@Michael, I read that post today as I've just read Spider Bones which covers the same Chimera aspect. Find it freaky that you could be the parent yet fail the test.
I've just found out my local library has a great e-audiobook range, which I can hire from home and side-load onto the fire. Their ebook range is fantastic too, but as an idea for those who don't want to fork over money on something you are unsure about.
We covered a whole module on copyright during the course I'm currently trying to complete. Logo placement was a big lesson for the photographer.
