"On page 120, Elie survives the war, but unfortunately his father doesn't, his father dies from dysentery where the body rejects all fluids. Elie felt when his father passed it was somewhat of a relief because he was often told by prisoners and guards that it was every man for himself but he always choose to ignore them because thats his father he couldn't abandon him in such a place; though it occurred to many father and son's." — Jun 09, 2013 07:15PM
