80027 For those feeling a tad disillusioned with notions of love & romance this Valentine's Day, my novel "Couldn't Love" might be the perfect little pick me up!

In fact, because I'm kinda nice (desperate for reviews) I've made it #FREE for the next 5 days. So go on, treat yourself... it's FREE!

80027 Hi Michael, like your blurb. It sounds gritty and I like it when multiple narratives crossover. Especially like the "a will as hard as diamond".

Two really minor points(but may as well say them, in case they might help). I didn't like the use of the ellipsis and the word "jarred". It sounds a bit clunky and jars?

Also, the "a while later". For a gritty novel it sounds too casual and indefinite. Maybe say, the specific time frame or even 'Soon, Cole...'

I like the overall feel and sound of the novel, so ignore the above points if they sound petty. I just think with a synopsis/blurb you need to make it as tight as possible because it may be ALL a reader reads before making the snap decision to buy or not.

G'luck!

80027 "I get the idea behind it - artificially boost your way into the top 100, but ignoring the slightly underhand and depressing nature of it all, you're basically lining Amazon's pockets in the process. For every sale I make at 0.99p or 0.99c I get 35% royalty - Amazon get the rest. On top of that there's the problem/potentiality of people buying, and then returning your book at a later date - I don't know what effect (if any), returned books have on your ranking?"

Not for me, but good luck (I guess)."

Connie, you can follow a blog and turn off the email, if it bothers you, though your idea is great too. I prefer getting people's blog posts as an email. I get about 10 a day and if the title of the post grabs me I open the email and read, if it doesn't I don't/sometimes do anyway. I think both are okay?

80027 Followed all the wordpress blogs, and some of the blogspot. For some of them I can't see how to follow though. With wordpress you click bottom right on a convenient FOLLOW button, on blogspot the follow widgets seem to be all over the place and some I couldn't see at all?

If I'm being a spanner/blind then let me know and I'll visit again?

Thanks and happy following.
