"He had an instinct for the kind of people who gave readers the creeps. The Devil. Actors. Husbands ..."

"People ask me a lot why I write thrillers. I think they mean, 'How did such a nice-seeming lady decide to write a book in which someone's small intestine is extracted with a crochet hook?' I make up different answers. But here's the truth: it's fun!"" Dec 28, 2019 02:12PM

Due to being in hospital since February 25th 2020 and no allowing any visitors allowed, plus my sight deteriorated since having had COVID-19 - I've had to amend my 2020 goal. It was 37 books but I've had to downgrade my goal to just 12, but I do hope to read a few more than that. I sincerely apologise for failing to read sufficent to complete my original Challenge of 37, will aim higher next year, hopefully! Oct 04, 2020 10:29AM
