True but when things feel so bad that you resort to cutting, and then the cutting leads to euphoria, it's almost an instinctual reaction. Something has to cause the want/need to cut

yeah, i mean people don't choose to be depressed or to cut themselves. It's something that's out of their control and us making them feel bad about that doesn't help - it probably increases how much of that activity they do.

I can't really judge. I hope no one does it but if you do then it's not exactly your fault - some circumstance beyond your control led you to do it. If you do it then there has to be a reason, and who am I to judge? I can discourage the practice but more than that...is really beyond my control. And I've never known a cutter so...

that could work. You could allocate mods folders and then each week they have to go through and delete/check that everything is working well and as planned. If a mod is unable to, for some reason, they can post on Mod Chat and ask someone else to. But I do request that people respect the opinions of the mod because personally I'm worried someone won't agree with me when I say it's over or whatever. I don't want to offend anyone or anything...

Yeah, I think H99 would be an awesome mod! I've known her for ages, and she'll keep this group afloat!! Like Milah, I'm sorry for not being so active. It's the end of term over here in AUS and everything is crazy with HSC trials and exams and assessments and the lot, but I PROMISE to get active again soon!! :)

I kinda disagree with you, Jason.

I don't think it's for everyone, but I think that if you truly believe that you would fit in better, or that you identify better with a certain gender, then I don't see anything wrong with changing your gender, or your 'sex' as they call it.

My friend told her brother that when he turned 10 he would turn into a girl. She told him that her mum was originally a boy and her dad was originally a girl. It was a long, extended joke that, well...you get the gist.

Basically, the point of that story is to show that I don't think there's anything wrong with sex change. Your 'sex' just defines which part you play in the reproductive system, and how people see you and how you see yourself. If you're okay with changing your gender, why should anyone else complain??

Okay, so there's the i'm-in-fourth-grade-i'm-so-cool dating. Yeah, but I don't consider that real dating because, for all intents and purposes, there is nothing intimate about that.

(I have a story about the fourth grade one if you want to hear it...)

Then, there's high school/middle school dating. You're bf/gf adds extra...for lack of a better word, status...to your social standing. It is merely a join between two friendship groups. It means you enjoy each others company and are never date-less for a dance. I think this kind of dating is okay from about 6th or 7th grade (depending if grades are the same in America and Australia...)

Okay, so now there's the 'dating' that just involves hooking up with someone a couple times. This shows NO maturity at all and, unfortunately, appears most often in my school. Basically, two people hook up a lot, there are no 'dates' so to speak, and the title gf and bf aren't even used. This is the second saddest form of dating, second only to the fourth grade one. Ugh.

Okay, then there's the one everyone wants. Well, at least I think a lot of people want it...it's the serious kind of dating that eventually leads to lots of heartbreak, marriage, etcetera etcetera. For this kind of dating, I think you need to have finished school and really have some kind of semblance of who you are and who you want to be. Only then do I think it's acceptable to try and have a relationship that will define you so much.

Make sense??

As much as I believe in that whole maturity thing, I think it also depends a lot on your definition of dating.
