i have, so it'll be nice to start rereading them.

oh i definitely wanna try this one. especially considering it's almost to 2020. just gotta finish some other books and i'll be trailing along behind yall.

i've seen mostly the first season and then snippets of the show. so i haven't really watched the show in its entirety.

so i have finally finished the book and my god there's so much to unpack. just wanna say the book is far better than the show and that's all i will say.

i'm like 86% of the way through the book and i have thoughts.

(view spoiler)[okay so cersei is like really making me angry because she's a selfish woman who is only looking for her own self gain. her reasoning for not liking robert because he called out the wrong woman's name (lyanna) is so petty like it's not a fucking reason to hate him. just find someone else to fuck that's not your brother and we're good. another point is littlefinger. so i watched the show before i read the book and i already saw what was going to happen anyway, but he still made me so angry because ned did trust him because of catelyn, but i think littlefinger betrayed ned because of catelyn; because he loves her and refuses to let go. like dude, she doesn't like you. she made that perfectly clear.
another point is jaime. i don't know him too well, but cutting down like four men with twenty at your side is a bitch move and i can't allow that. i'm so happy that robb took him prisoner. i do like tyrion and he's probably my only favorite lanister at this point. Sansa can be a bit irritating at times because she's a bit selfish and only loves joffery for some reason, but i have to remember that she's a child. she's fourteen. she doesn't know the world yet and it's harsh to judge her because she's just so young. she only knows her fairytales and can't grasp that the real world is not her fairytales at all. so i can't be too harsh on her. i do like arya and i love jon so much. i mostly feel bad for dany and what she's going through right now. but i also think her motives when her husband is dying is a bit much. no wonder her people left her.
anyway, that's all i got for now and now i wanna finish the book because i wanna know what happens next.
and cersie is right, no matter how much i despise her. there is only one way to win the throne and it's either through death or ownership. and i'm hoping that joffery and everyone else who takes the iron throne realize the burden and despair the throne brings. that's all. (hide spoiler)]

it's a really long book and I have to constantly remind myself about the characters and who's who in the story. it's still really good and I'm glad that you're extending it for another month. and honestly, I really cant stand Cersei, but I won't post opinions just yet. heres to keep in reading!

so i am like 26% into the book and my god it's a wonderful story so far.

yay! plus i wanna see how different the book is from the show because i heard they made a lot of changes from the book.

I am curious about the book because so many people talk about it. I think itll be a good book to read in the summer since it is a high fantasy. I'll join you in your reading adventure

i just finished the book and man it took a while. it was a little hard to get into at first, but as the story progressed, it started to get more interesting. i do have to admit it was a lot more political than I thought it was going to be. it could be that it was first written in japanese and translated into english later on, but the story flowed together beautifully and i loved everything about it. my only issue was probably the beasts. it was a little difficult to picture what the royal beasts and the toda looked like to the point where i had to google the images myself. (it's also an anime i just found out.) but all in all, it was a fun read.

and thank you for taking the chance and reading it! sometimes fantasy stories are hard to get in to depending on the person and what they like. so thank you!

i've heard of the book before and i'm actually excited to read it. it's been on a tbr list for a while.

oh my god i feel so honored! thank you so much! i was actually looking through some books that i would think would fit and found The Beast Player. one of my friends recommended the book and i heard it's a good book. it's a young adult fantasy story, so i hope that's okay. again, thank you so much for allowing me to choose!

I feel like some thrillers and mysteries can disappoint me if not done well. the premise was interesting and learning about her back story was cool, but I was just getting annoyed with her. (view spoiler)[and I still dont understand the point of Liam. like, she only talked to you a handful of times, some of those were not even full sentences, and somehow hes smitten with her? I dont get it. is he onlt there to save her in the end and maybe finding the tape? I dont know and Liam is like amateur detective. (hide spoiler)]

alright so i finally finished the book and it was more like i'm glad i'm done with it. i kinda just wanted to get the book over with because i was starting to grow a little bored with it. the twist towards the end however, is extremely dramatic and and something i would have never guessed. (view spoiler)[THE FACT THAT JACOB IS ACTUALLY HARRY, HER TWIN BROTHER, MADE IT SUPER ICKY AND GROSSED OUT. I HAD TO STOP AND TRY TO COMPOSE MYSELF. THAT'S WHY I GAVE IT A TWO STAR BECAUSE THE TWIST WAS GOOD BUT EVERYTHING ELSE MADE ME JUST NOT CARE. sorry for writing in caps but i had to express some rage. (hide spoiler)]
