“Diary of a Zombie” transports us to a desolate world, a planet wiped out by a massive pandemic where human beings have almost become extinct. This is a unique case.
After a few chapters in which the character is introduced, we will witness a story of redemption, full of human values, that is centered around a peculiar friendship. Hello everyone. As you can see, I've been slacking on the read for review program for the last several months. However, it appears there are still authors interested and, hopefully, readers, so we are going to reinitiate the program with a few modifications.First, I am going to post another thread with the current list of titles and authors I have submitted for the read for review program. If you are an author that submitted your title and still want to participate in the read for review, please go to the thread and add a message like "Title by Joe Bob Briggs- Participation Confirmed, xx copies, mobi/epub/pdf/format". I will then update the original post to annotate your participation. I will post a R4R thread for the first "confirmed" title next monday (9 Feb) or earlier if the first author on the list confirms prior to that date. After that, I will post a new thread for the next "confirmed" title on the list on a weekly basis.
Second, distribution of books to reviewers will now be the responsibility of the author and the reviewer. I will post notices and emails as previously, but the notices will be modified to direct reviewers to post an email address and format requested in the title discussion thread. Once the reviewer posts their email, it will be the authors responsibility to coordinate and deliver the title to the reviewer. I will no longer serve as the immediary. Hopefully this will speed up delivery of books to readers.
All other requirements of the program remain the same. Reviewers are still required to post their review within 3 weeks of receiving the book including a link in the title thread in the Zombies group.
AUTHORS-be advised that only about 50% of reviewers actually post reviews. If you have an issue with someone not posting a review, let me know their name.
REVIEWERS- if I am notified by three separate authors that you have received a book and failed to post a review (without proper coordination/justification with the author, we understand life happens), you will be expelled and blocked from the Zombies! group. THIS IS YOUR ONLY WARNING.

The group has been approached by author L.R. Currell for a Read for Review of his novel Confessions of a Red Neck Zombie Killing Psycho, the first book in the Tasty Trio series. Books 2 and 3 (A Dead Horse Named Caleb and Soul Consumer) will also be included.Summary:
Three weary travelers, the last in their group are heading towards Mexico. After the outbreak they heard it was a safe place and are determined to make a life for themselves there.

I believe J.L Bourne was even a participant in the discussions. Depending on votes, it could come up again but may not get support since it was already read this year. Interested parties (since there seem to be several) can always put together a buddy read for the title(s).
Meghan,I'm a bit confused about what you volunteered for? I do know Netanella has created a separate thread with nominations and a poll for the June BOTM and individuals are making nominations.
