Hi Faye! Philip never really fell in love with someone else- at the end of TIMELESS when he's all grown up in the 1940s he does have a girlfriend, but that's only because he was forced to accept that Michele couldn't live in his Time. But he never got over her. :)
Elizabeth, yes! I will be there in mid-March for New York Public Library's Teen Author Fest. I'll keep you posted on the dates!
Thanks, Whitney and Saphire! I'll be sure to post details about the new book here as soon as I can. :)
Aww! Thank you so much Elizabeth, I'm so glad you were moved by the story. I came up with the idea because I'm such a history buff that I've always daydreamed about being able to go back in time myself! :)
Thanks Whitney! I know, I love present-day Philip too and wish I could have spent more time with him! :) With TIMEKEEPER I really wanted to lift the veil on the mysteries of the first book (Michele's dad, how time-travel works, Michele's abilities, etc). So that's why there was a little less of Philip, but I hope you enjoyed his storyline! The new book I'm writing is very different in that it's a mystery/thriller- but it has a BIG love story at the center. :)
Thanks Laura! The romantic thriller is called SUSPICION and it publishes next year. I'm really excited about it- currently in the midst of the first draft!
Hi Saphire! That's so cool that you read the whole book the same day you got it! My next book is a romantic thriller for Random House, publishing next year. :)
Hi Marguerite! I'm so happy to hear you loved Timeless. There are signed copies of TIMEKEEPER at two Barnes & Noble stores in Southern California, but that's pretty far from Australia! :) I would love to come to Australia on my next book tour, that would be amazing- I'll keep you posted!Marguerite wrote: "Hi Alexandra! I really loved reading Timeless, it is such a wonderful and original idea, but I have not been able to get my hands on a copy of Timekeeper yet, though I hope to soon. Do you have a b..."
Hi Mimi! I'm honored to hear that you read both books in one sitting, that's awesome!Your ideas about the Time Society are really cool! Because the Society is only able to deal in matters of Time, and they don't have the power of memory control or things like that, I wouldn't have been able to work that into the plot. But it's definitely a cool idea!
At the moment I'm writing a new YA novel for Random House- it's a romantic thriller, and I'm so excited about it!! There is a bit of a paranormal element to it as well. :) But I do have ideas for further books in the TIMELESS series, and I could very well end up continuing!
I wanted to become an author because I'm one of the biggest bookworms around. :) Reading really inspired me to come up with my own stories.
I don't currently have plans to do an event in Ohio, but hopefully in the near future! Thanks again for reading and for your thoughtful questions. :)

Thank you so much, Shraddha! I definitely wanted the songs to have an old-school classic feel to go with the time periods Michele travels to, so I'm happy that's how they came across to you. :)
Hi Tanya! I'm so happy to hear you loved Timeless, and I can't wait to hear what you think of Timekeeper. Unfortunately after a book has been released it's hard to get review copies from the publisher, but I'll definitely ask!
