Congratulations, G.G. Collins! You're the first post here at the very, very quiet Scaredy Cat group since May of last year!Welcome here! Sadly, it's not a very active group these days. Everyone is off on their own, I guess. The only reason I saw this is because I have email notifications turned on.
I love stories out of the S.W. I'm a big fan of Tony Hillerman.
Have a great weekend!

All's well so far here, too, MJ. Just isolating/quarantining --> catching up on reading, watching movies, listening to music, playing around on the Internet. Pretty much what most other folks are doing, I s'pose. :)Stay safe and healthy!

Howdy,I still come here to keep my reading information current. GoodReads has always been a good way to research books and keep track of the ones you want to read and the ones you've already read. It's more fun than a scratch pad, anyway. ;)
I haven't been too "social" on GoodReads this past couple years, though, as demonstrated by my absence here, for example.
I was actually thinking about all you folks here just the other day, though; particularly our Group Owner who, if you remember, lives in Miami, FL.
I hope everyone is staying #SAFE and #HEALTHY! :)
Toodles for now...

Hey... Howdy! There's not a whole lot of activity in this place lately, friend. It's much like a silent crypt. ;)
Anyway, maybe your post here will revive things a bit. :)
Welcome!

Oh... Denver has cool spots and Rhode Island has sharks. OK. I got it. I was just confused. That happens a lot these days. Alcohol could have played a part in that. ;)
Hey, Jeff...WELCOME to our group. Sadly, it's not very active these days. Folks have drifted off to other pursuits like FaceBook and Twitter, I s'pose.
Anyway, there are still a couple of us who monitor postings here, so a few might pop in to say howdy.
In the meantime, kick back and enjoy a good book. It's summertime. It's hot. Dog days are coming.
Take care...

Rhode Island? Well, I'd like to visit Providence one day (Lovecraft's hometown). Guess I could hire a translator when I get there, huh? :)
Me? Hell, I've been AWOL way too much from here this past year. It's Linda who keeps the candles lit and fire going. :)
Trust? I don't trust any online entity to protect my data/identities. It's just the way it is. I've used a pseudonym my entire existence on the Internet. I'm in a VPN tunnel. I have browser security measures installed. I run Linux (not Windows), etc.
^Knocking wood^ I've never had any email issues, other than the usual SPAM crap. No one has stolen my fake identity (and definitely not the real one).
You have to be pro-active with your security online. You can't trust others to be doing it for you. Sadly, the vast majority of folks using the Internet have no clue of the dangers lurking out there.
Have a great weekend!
