Have you read The Expanse? It's my fav scifi series of all time. The novels are huge, but incredibly compelling. The TV show is good, but condenses and brushes over a lot of what I'd call the meat of it (fantastic character development and really established cultures/powers in the setting).

Yep! Also with work. My team is falling apart due to a crappy boss, and I keep getting thrust into leadership positions. Which would be flattering, except it's exhausting, it's not netting me any added pay or benefits, and it's meaning a lot of cognitive load, long days, and scheduling bullshittery.

May the chaos smooth out for us both, soon!

There were a few instances of looking out the window at dreary rain and dreary rain keeping the MCs indoors, but only one lightning storm. I'm thinking it doesn't count, then. :)
