"Review for _The Story of Tomoda and Matsunaga_ by Juni'chi'ro Tanizaki
I would give this 4 stars
I loved the story and the themes of culture, westernization, and yearning for two polar opposites
Content and what I do not like:
Sexualization of women which I find common in Japanese Literature, drinking/debauchery" — Oct 12, 2026 03:19PM
