[close] Book Club ground rules are simple:
1. Club meets once a month. One member will serve as book discussion leader and another will serve as host.
2. Meeting times and dates will be selected by the host and book discussion leader.
3. Any member may suggest a title, but they must have read the book themselves.
4. Any member may invite a new member. Addendum: Membership limit is 20 members.
5. As a courtesy, the book discussion leader and host will make an effort to announce the meeting time no later than the prior month's meeting.
Some random guidelines:
Please make your book choices easily available so we are not forced to buy new books to keep up with the reading.
Due to a surplus of depressing memoirs in 2006, please steer clear of memoirs unless you have a really, really good reason for putting them on the list.
Be kind; consider page count. We love to read, but nobody loves a forced march through 500 pages if you're not in love with the story.
