[close] My sister left me with the decision of picking the first book. I was having a hard time deciding, after pouring through page upon page of books, so I told Brandi that I couldn't decide. She offered a few suggestions. I hadn't heard of any of them, and I wanted to take the time to read through the descriptions and not make a hasty decision. With mom staying the night with me, I felt obligated to spend my time visiting with her and wanted to wait until she had gone home. Brandi, in a rush to get started, told on me to my mother via text. I was forced to make a decision. So I popped on goodreads to look up descriptions, and this happened to be in my recommendations list. So, I decided to pick this.
