When authors spring that nonsense on us (in that way you just know they're participating in it instead of criticizing it) we will name it and move on to other books. All members are welcome to pause their own involvement to get some distance from the book.

Member Behavior
We get to choose who we are associated with, and we choose not to associate with the above behavior. Any apologist stances from club members may warrant us enforcing our boundaries but not including those members in the next club meeting. We’re tryna have a good time and we don’t need them vibes.
