The story^ He was the new rider. Black Motorbikes, the best money could buy, were brought in on a trailer, pulled by a black as black Ram truck. He screamed money, he screamed arrogance, he screamed untrustworthy. He came into the club like a bombshell. This was your track, your team, your race to win. ‘Good luck, Y/N, ’ He smirked as I swung a leg over the rumbling engine of my KTM. I glared at him, placing my goggles over my green eyes. He ran a hand through his hair, raking the smooth brown locks backward. This was the decider. If I got in, we were through to the end. He, of all people, would not wreck this. He couldn't. I tried to ignore him. Tied to forget him as I pushed the bike to the starting gate. The other bikes lined up beside me, engines rumbling. Suspensions compressed as riders leaned forward, reading to jump the gate when the starting gun went off. “BANG” I changed gears in record time, pulling forward before the rest as we went around the track, dust flying, engines roaring. H/N stood by the starting gate. He made out he hated her. She was the captain, something he wanted, something he worked so hard for. But he was stuck, he was stuck on the thought of her. Her remarks, her glares, her piercing green eyes. He leaned an arm on the bike, watching her, in front of the rest. He shouldn't care. He shouldn't worry. Around the next bull dust bar, she rolled over the hill and into the gap. She never came back up. The front bike waved her arms signalling the Ambo. The race flag was called to slow the remaining races. He's heart beat out of his chest. His eyes are scanning. He hated her. She hated him. Yet he was sprinting over the track, the track security yelling, trying to pull him back. He was a bat out of hell, screaming her name. “Y/N”
