Booked and Beating is the book club where CICU nurses (and a wonderful RT) clock out of the unit to immediately act like we're still on night shift: overtired, overcaffeinated, and oversharing. We read books that raise our blood pressure more than a clotted central line and drag characters with the same energy we use when a resident suggests a 250mL fluid bolus.
