Maleficent (the movie, not the character) was fifty years ago.
Queen Aurora has established a school - Maleficent Academy - for all young faeries and other magical beings. A separate academy, overseen by King Phillip, is dedicated to the education of young humans. Yet still, enmity lies between a group of humans called 'Anti-Magical Assossiation', and the faeries. Attacks are regular, especially on the academy.
