Rule #1: Finish the damn book by the deadline. Otherwise dress up like the character on the cover of the book and post it here and somewhere else embarrassing. Preferably the local newspaper. This will be enforced with violence.

Rule #2: When it comes to choosing a book, if more than one of us has read it, pick a different book. If only one of us has read it, that's OK.

Rule #3: Everyone talks about book club. All the time.
