The "They Should Really Make a Movie About Our Book Club" Book Club

Historically our book club selects themes that seek to explore the human condition (for instance, topics like immigration, racism, war, etc.). The books generally feature either a female author, a female protagonist, or both. We alternate between literary fiction and nonfiction, with most of our fiction grounded in North America - however, we are interested in bringing in global voices (including in translation) and diverse settings.
