You've heard of Chick Lit? This is the opposite. Gritty, guy books. I mean hard writing. Not escapist garbage, but books that have teeth. Think the style of Cormac McCarthy with some Bret Easton Elis uncomfortableness and a little Chuck Palahniuk honesty and the reality of Roddy Doyle. Like chicks think about love and romance, this is the shit guys think about. It doesn't mean you do it - but still, you like to read about it.
