"Crazy" for YA
A lot of Young Adult books these day are based on characters suffering from Mental Illnesses. When I was reading "Highly Illogical Behavior" by John Corey Whaley, it made me think of my own experience as a teenager with Mental Illness. So not easy! But reading helped me get through some tough times. I would love to hear other people's thoughts on Mental Illness in Young Adult literature. Do you think it's helpful? Do you think it's accurate? Is there an illness you wish they'd write more about?
