Interstellar slower-than-light fiction
This group is for those of us who like stories in space but don't have much patience for flagrant violations of well established physics. IMHO, any story that is physically impossible should be considered a sub-genre of fantasy.
The worse culprit is faster-than-light (FTL) communication, which is highly unlikely because regardless of the mechanism, special relativity tells us it will violate causality and require infinite energy for all known matter.
