Looking For Gold
Almost six years ago, Egyptian novelist Sahar El Mougy began The Cultural Workshop which was a forum for creative writing in English and Arabic for young writers from Egypt and elsewhere in the world. Meeting up with her young writers at first through the weekly radio show, El Mougy read and criticized the writings of these young people. She later began a book club, meeting up once a month with one of Egypt's writers to discuss his/her book.
