You will review required books for GRDG 640, and include the following:

Title, author, publisher and date, # of pages, summary (5-7 sentences), your evaluation (1-5 stars), genre, grade level, Lexile level, Guided Reading level, and one or two teaching ideas with accompanying NYS ELA CCS.

*It is recommended that you keep a list of “someday” books to be used in your classroom in the future, as you listen to others’ book commercials. Your “someday” book list will be checked once, looking for a way you have personally evaluated the books you have heard reviewed. Your someday list can be created on Goodreads, or in a notebook on paper.
