[close] We try to read at least one book a month but may have several posted as options. Feel free to read any or all that are posted for each month!

We are always open to suggestions on great new (and old) books and will check out any requests posted.

Our main goal in starting this group was to branch out, find new and interesting reads, meet fellow book lovers and share our joy and opinions!

New members be forewarned! We are renowned for "Judging books by their covers" and often times choose a book simply because we love the title and the picture on the front! *gasp*!! Horrible, we know, but then, we've found some of our favorites this way. :-)

Also, we tend to avoid the genre's of Romance (at least of the Harlequin sort since we have not found the writing to be of a quality we enjoy), Horror (we simply don't have the stomach for it) and "Cutsie" or "Fluff" novels as we like to call them. We like a challenge and appreciate a novel with a little more meat... something to TALK about!!
