You live in a forgotten game. Over time, it has become twisted and awful. You have a status, and you live in a Level of the Game. Occasionally a human finally comes into the game, sometimes they stay forever, and sometimes they have no choice but to stay. lose a life, go back to start. Like that, except here, you actually lose lives.
