RDFC Readers

A place where the Rose Drive Friends Church community can share books reviews, recommend titles or engage in online literary discussions. This group is open to anyone who attends RDFC, who used to attend RDFC, or who has some sort of affiliation with RDFC.

This group is set to Public (at least, for now) while we test this out as a new church community tool. It can be switched to Private at the group members' request.

[close] I've been dying to see the movie due to its rave reviews, but want to finish the book first. In the very first chapter, it's apparent why this novel has received so much acclaim. The characters are quirky, funny and touching. The dialect is spot-on. And the plot focuses on the hurts and injustices of racial segregation and bigotry.
