This club focuses on the literary work of black women. There are no restrictions on genre.
Books by black women seem to be cast into the background, not given the attention and love they deserve. In some genres, black women are almost non-existent. This group will highlight the work of black women and provide a space for discussion about the books we discuss and any specific topics/themes from our reading we feel like we should explore more.
