2) Only people that finish the book (or previously completed the book) have the chance to select the next book. Once the previous book is completed, all the names of people who finished the book go into a pot and a name is randomly drawn. The name that is drawn selects the next book. If a person does not want to select a book they can either “pass” or give their drawing to someone else.

3) A selected book must be under 400 pages. When selecting a book from a series, the first book in the series must be picked before subsequent books in the series can be selected. A reader may not select a book that they have already read.

4) A reader can always opt to not read a book, it simply eliminates them from the drawing until they complete a book.
