o Sit in circle so everyone can see each other
o Everyone has to participate
o Use a low tone voice and no shouting
o Listen when your friend is speaking, wait for your turn and do not interrupt
o Look at the speaker when she or he’s talking
o Use the book to support what you are saying
o Stay on topic, and stay focused on one idea at a time
o Be respectful and don’t make jokes while someone is talking
o There are no wrong answers in this group, we are all here to learn so say what you think
o Write down your notes and questions and keep them until your turn is up
o Ask questions, push each other’s thinking (use the HOT questions to guide you)
o At the end, the MOB leader should summarize the book in one printed page and give copies for each MOB member to put it in his MOB folder (check template of the MOB summary)
