Julio Genao i'll vote when i get to reading these. :-P

Kynthos-the-Archer (Kyn) Ok. Hope to get more on the list. I am kinda fascinated with romance of such questionable nature. Almost sick.

Kynthos-the-Archer (Kyn) Wheeeeee... the party is going A okay here! Glad you guys love the list. I was wondering why it wasn't on Listopia already. Despite that this is what actually make many of us tick.

Yes, yes, I forgot about Bloodraven. And I am going to put these graphic novel in - Under Grand Hotel, Volume 01 by Mika Sadahiro , Under Grand Hotel, Volume 02 by Mika Sadahiro , Under Grand Hotel, Volume 3 by Mika Sadahiro . It's an amazing prison gangbang and politics series by Mika Sadahiro called Under Grand Hotel. UGH in short. It is twisted romance alright even with the ugly realities of being in such an unforgiving place where everyone fights for dominance for survival. Where the weak ones struggle for protection for the same reason. To stay alive. There's pain and violence in it of course, since we are talking about prison. But there's also intense love and trust. Love so intense it borderlines on obsession.

The art is amazing in my book too. Very hawt stuff.
Hmmm.... somehow, it feels like I am writing a review of it here. A short one. lol

Elizabetta hmmm, Exquisite Corpse maybe?

~ Lei ~ Reading Is An Adventure ~ Great list starter Kyn, thanks Jen for inviting me to vote on it - may not have noticed it for a while. I'll add a few of my favorites. :)

message 13: by Anna (Bananas) (last edited Apr 20, 2013 08:47PM) (new)

Anna (Bananas) It's like Christmas. A deliciously sick Christmas. :)

That's so cool! Hope you all could get more ppl on it. So we could have tons of twisted sick love to burrow into. lol.

Jen, thanks for inviting more peeps here. :D This is awesome. I am hanging onto this list as my next-to-read. ;)

Kynthos-the-Archer (Kyn) Elizabetta wrote: "hmmm, Exquisite Corpse maybe?"

Shudders. You sure about EC? I cannot forget about that sammich. Yuck!

But yea, I have to reluctantly agree tat it has love in it however super twisted it was....it's there. This book makes me cringe.

Anna's starting Christmas already. lol
You are liking this list too I presume?

message 17: by Anna (Bananas) (new)

Anna (Bananas) YES :D
I hadn't heard of many of these. New books! But I'm really salivating for In These Words.

Kynthos-the-Archer (Kyn) You better try your best to get tat one fast if you have the chance. I am forever grateful for Bookdepository for mine. Now they are out of stock there too. Glad I snatched it up fast the last time. So proud that I now owe a collectors item.

I am just worried I might not be as lucky when 2nd book comes out. *biting nails*

Yes! There was definitely the most twisted of 'love' in that one! Lush and Tam... the two psychopaths...

I look at Bookdepository. I've heard of it but not familiar. I found it on Ebay for $30 though, which is doable. Surely the second one will be easier to get - right after release anyway?

Kynthos-the-Archer (Kyn) Elizabetta wrote: "Yes! There was definitely the most twisted of 'love' in that one! Lush and Tam... the two psychopaths... "

Yup. Not debatable. It IS love but in a very sickly depraved way. So please go ahead. You may have the honor of adding it. lol

Last I check on bookdepository, it was out of stock. So grab tat ebay one already. If it is already at $30 then it's going to be 100 in my currency. *faints*

About that 2nd book, I am just worried that there might not be enough prints to all those fans waiting for it. They might be faster than me. I am miles away too :(

30 dollars is cheap compared to the current prices of 100/150! Make sure you have the book and not just one episode for that price, Anna. And make sure it's the English version. Sometimes they're a bit vague about that.

I'm keeping an eye on their Tumblr and site and give you a shout if there's something up.:) They said it'll take another year though.

message 26: by Kat (new)

Kat Was Not His Kiss To Take that twisted?:/ I thought it was just a normal sexy romance... That slight kink the doctor had doesn't seem that twisted.

Maybe I'm just slowly but steadily getting more depraved though.;p

Thanks Lo, I would do the same for you and Anna too.

Same line of thought here about tat one tat's why I didn't vote on it. Not so sure if it fits here. But *shrugs* everyone has different level of perception.

message 29: by Anna (Bananas) (last edited Apr 21, 2013 01:37AM) (new)

Anna (Bananas) I'll shell out $50-$60 if I have to. I've paid as much for an art book I really wanted before. Totally worth it. :)
I did notice the Japanese versus English versions so I'm keeping an eye out for that as well.

message 30: by Kynthos-the-Archer (Kyn) (last edited Apr 21, 2013 01:50AM) (new)

Kynthos-the-Archer (Kyn) *Keeps fingers crossed* Goodluck!

Tell us when you got your hands on it kay.

It feels like you are treasure hunting here. lol. But this is a treasure not to be missed.

message 31: by Anna (Bananas) (new)

Anna (Bananas) Ha ha ha, that's exactly what it is. I'll let you know when I get it.

Vivian ♪(┌・。・)┌ I almost feel depraved now. I wouldn't count a lot of the top ten as twisted. :D

Kat Vivian wrote: "I almost feel depraved now. I wouldn't count a lot of the top ten as twisted. :D"

Uhm yeah, I think maybe you have to moderate this list at some point Kyn. Before you know it, Cut & Run probably ends up taking the number 1 position again, regardless of the subject of the list.;p

Kynthos-the-Archer (Kyn) Please help me point out those questionable ones. Because I haven't read most of em. So I really couldn't tell. Lol. Tough one. :P

message 35: by Venecia (last edited Apr 21, 2013 07:59AM) (new)

Venecia I may be wrong but I don't think Thirty Days qualifies as twisted. It is a BDSM relationship but a healing one in my opinion, nothing twisted about it. The sub's previous "master" was the sick one.

Thanks Venecia. :)

Anyone else second this claim? Please voice your opinion now. TQ

I think Kynth is right that it's a matter of perception. My reading can get pretty depraved I think but I did not consider this a 'normal' romance -- esp. in the beginning, though it may have evolved into one eventually. Then again, NHKTT was my first 'medical kink' book and if I read more I may eventually find this one lighter fare.

Kynth, I'm wondering if there's anyway to tighten up your heading...maybe say 'twisted love that is the focus of the story, demonstrated on page, and on-going' or something like that... So with Venecia's comment about 'Thirty Days' (which I haven't read) if the twisted part is off page or not highlighted, it wouldn't belong on the list...

I've been WANTING to read this, lol, (love PL Nunn's graphic stuff too) but the price is so prohibitive... $7/chapter!!!! I may have to break down though 'cause it is truly beautiful and so naughty.

message 39: by Kynthos-the-Archer (Kyn) (last edited Apr 21, 2013 09:10AM) (new)

Kynthos-the-Archer (Kyn) Hmmm good idea Eliz. I like tat. Can I copy it from you verbatim? :P Please?

By the way, I have added some more tags to help define this. What do you think of it? Thanks

message 40: by Elizabetta (new)

Elizabetta Sure, no prob. Others may have some suggestions too.

I love your tags, btw :)

Wondering... how about adding 'incest' and 'twincest' ? (I'm so depraved I don't really consider this 'twisted' but this is a 'trigger' genre for many so probably should belong here too.

Kynthos-the-Archer (Kyn) Another good point E :)

If incest love isn't twisted love, what is? lol

Shall go add it into my tags.

message 42: by Elizabetta (new)

Elizabetta I don't know anymore!

Kynthos-the-Archer (Kyn) Lol. Okay E.

Alright E, I have just re-edited the requirements. Can you help me take a look at it please? TQ for your help so far. I really appreciate it.

message 44: by Elizabetta (new)

Elizabetta Ah, I like that. It makes it clearer and will help keep your editing job down hopefully.

One little thing -- correct sp. to 'demonstrated'

message 45: by Anna (Bananas) (new)

Anna (Bananas) Anyone know some good incest/twincest books to add? "Good" being the most important part.

message 46: by Elizabetta (new)

Elizabetta You want the not-so-good ones too?

message 47: by Anna (Bananas) (new)

Anna (Bananas) Ha ha, well honestly I don't but others might. I don't want to waste my time if it's not great

message 48: by Kat (new)

Kat Someone feels like adding Fog? I sure as hell don't, but it sort of completely belongs on this list. Lol.

message 49: by Kat (new)

Kat Anna (Bananas!) wrote: "Anyone know some good incest/twincest books to add? "Good" being the most important part."

"Fuck you!"
"Don't mind if I do.."

Gotta love twincest jokes.:p I remember Karen writing a hilarious review for a twincest book. Have to look it up..

message 50: by Elizabetta (new)

Elizabetta Twincest: The Center of Earth and Sky and its sequel but here's the conundrum...definitely twincest but the story is kinda sweet so can you still call it twisted? What do others think?
