the worst part is I havent read ANY of these books yet!

I've read 1 and 1/2 of the books on this list (and the Number-1-so-far is one book I couldn't bear to read more than halfway through). Looks like I'll be adding even *more* to my "To Read" list!

Neither have I....I've been so busy with reading for work and school that I am still catching up on the things I've meant to read the past few years. I'm quite a good deal behind....

I cannot vote fairly until I've read a good number of these, but I really enjoyed the Twilight series.

Hey, I've read some of these, which I find is an oddity, usually these lists contain nothing I have read!

Most of these books just arrived in the country where I live and applies like 40% tax to imported books. I'd like to save first

Although I'd really like Jhumpa Lahiri's book to be the best.

You should add MORE THAN THIS by Margo Candela. It just came out and it's fabulous!

Ditto most of these thouughts. I haven't heard of most of these, but have added some to my list.

I have not read any of these - just started Katie Ford's book though. A few would definitely go on my To-Read list but I have a lot already. I second the thought that we should wait a few months. A lot of good books come out in the fall and that's where I do the bulk of my reading (also, winter when I;m inside more...

I have not read any of these books either. I'm usually busy writing my own. I guess I will have to try harder.

I hadn't read any of these either, so I added Amanda Grange's Mr.Knightley's diary. That was probably my favorite read of 2008.

My favorite book was the Last Lecture. I found it so touching, so inspiring. It is a book I will never forget.

Thanks for letting me vote- I have read many of the books but I really, really enjoyed Jennifer Storm's book and I am still passing it around to my adult friends (who may or may not have children dealing with alcoholism) and they love it too----it speaks volumes that Jennifer struggled for so long and now look at her recovery, her job (which can be sooo challenging!!! and rewarding!!!!) and her happiness in life. I wish everyone would read her book.

Several of these are small press or self published books that have gotten less than stellar reviews elsewhere. I dub this list suspect.

Indeed the list is questionable. Each respondent should add their favorite not just select from the list
